Varnika Kundu is an Indian interdisciplinary designer currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work experience ranges from sensory interventions to extended realities, aspiring to innovate interactive products and experiences through a sustainable and empathetic lens.
Varnika hold a Masters in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute where she graduated with distinction and was awarded Excellence in Academic Achievement, the Kostellow Fellowship and a merit based scholarship. Prior to Pratt, Varnika graduated with distinction from National Institute of Fashion Technology, India (2013-2017) with a Bachelor of Design in Accessory Design. She landed her first job as Lead Exhibition Designer for Academy Award winning music composer, A.R. Rahman on Le Musk, a multi-sensory VR film. There she collaborated with technology partners such as Intel, Positron VR, The Feelies, IFF, and AromaJoin, to exhibit works at NAB Show 2017 and Cannes Film Festival 2019.

Anora is a cross-modal toolkit comprising a mobile app paired with a family of beautiful lighting fixtures for the home that sense dangerous gasses for you if you don’t have the ability to smell.
