Christina Litvaitis
Hello! My name is Christina Litvaitis, and I am a New York based artist passionate about visual storytelling and production. My love for 2D animation and Live-action Film goes back to my earliest memories and has pushed me to nurture essential skills for my career. Such as storytelling, 2D animation, editing, and team building. Collaboration on projects to create a finished piece is my passion and where I feel most comfortable. Having experience working with other artists and clients from bigger organizations, I am excited to work in the industry after my graduation. When I'm not making art or films, you can find me reading, writing, cooking, playing video games, or taking care of my many plants. My hope is to one day make stories that move and inspire people as much as others have done for me.

Artist Statement
Christina Litvaitis is an animator and filmmaker from Long Island, New York, and has always had a love for storytelling. It has made a massive impact on her life from an early age, and she now wants to create that experience for others. While also being an artist, she has a deep love for life and experiences new things. She loves to pick up new hobbies, cook, write, collect vinyls and antiques, and grow her mini garden of plants. She likes to gather her inspiration from everywhere and uses that to make her stories feel authentic.
She likes to experiment with her skill set, having interest and experience with 2D Animation, Stop Motion Animation, Live-Action Film, Screenwriting, and Video Editing. Christina is really willing to try anything but her true love is the ability to tell stories. She believes that stories can make a massive impact on someone’s life. So, her top priority is putting her whole heart into a project and doing everything she can to make a film feel impactful and respectful. Her goal is to hopefully create something that touches someone as others have done for her.
While creating her Capstone film “Wishmaker,” Christina wanted to make something that combined her own experiences and interests. She wanted to tell a story that a wide range of people could enjoy and relate to. Her other projects range in styles and topics but always have a meaningful narrative at the core. In this film, she based Nova’s arc on her experiences with anxiety. Christina thought it could be relatable for many people and wanted to use this space world to tell the story. She always had an interest in space and science fiction, and she thought her Capstone film would be the perfect opportunity to make her own fun little space story. Overall, she hopes “Wishmaker” resonates with people and inspires them to never give up on their dreams.
